Recommendation: Completion of Jena Dyco IICRC Carpet Cleaning Course is highly recommended. Attendees who have not completed Jena Dyco IICRC Carpet Cleaning Course will be disadvantaged by lacking the knowledge therefore may not get the most out of the course.

The IICRC 3 day Water Damage Course gives you a thorough understanding of water damage restoration and best practice procedures for completing jobs. It is for professionals who are starting in the industry with water damage as well as those already doing water damage but have not done any formal training.

After passing the optional IICRC exam at the end of the course participants will become IICRC Certified Water Restoration Technician.

• Principles of proper restorative drying procedures
• Psychrometry - what it is and how to make it SIMPLE
• How to wood
• Permeance
• The effect of vapour pressure, moisture content
• How to DRY wall interiors, wood flooring, ductwork, insulation, crawlspaces
• Science of drying
• Antimicrobials
• Sewage damage restoration
• Documentation and proper equipment placement
• Procedures for handling a clean water loss & unsanitary losses
• Learn how to calculate, on the job, how much drying equipment is required and how to set up for effective drying
• Much more including inspection procedures, biocides, microorganisms, drying procedures for carpet, pad, subfloor, wood flooring and sewage backflows
• MINIMIZE your liability with knowledge
• Hands on component

IICRC Course Recognition:
If you want to receive IICRC recognition for the course there is an optional IICRC multiple choice exam at the end of the course.
The cost is $70 payable directly to IICRC via credit card at the time of the exam.
