IICRC Health and Safety Course (HST)
Description
The IICRC 2 day Health and Safety Course will teach you to understand your obligations in complying with your state’s Work Cover Authority and to ensure meeting Duty of Care to avoid paying penalties. While working with dangerous components as chemicals, water, electricity you want to ensure that you do everything possible not to harm anyone around you: "If you can do something to protect yourself, a fellow worker, a customer or the general public - then make sure you do it!" This course will give you knowledge about all the safety considerations on how to react to hazards, how to explain safety to customers and to come up with practical strategies in dealing with these issues. This course has a component of Customer Service.
After passing the optional IICRC exam at the end of the course participants will become IICRC Certified Health and Safety Technician.

IICRC Course Recognition:
If you want to receive IICRC recognition for the course there is an optional IICRC multiple choice exam at the end of the course.
The cost is $70 payable directly to IICRC via credit card at the time of the exam.
