Description

The IICRC 4 day Carpet Cleaning Course is the foundation course for all carpet cleaners who are starting in the industry as well as those already doing carpet cleaning but have not done any formal training. This course will give you a thorough understanding of carpets and best practice procedures for completing carpet cleaning jobs according to Australian and New Zealand standards. This will ensure that you are doing your job in the best possible way and that your customers will always want to use your services again in future.

After passing the optional IICRC exam at the end of the course participants will become IICRC Certified Carpet Cleaning Technician.

• Carpet production and construction
• Carpet fibre characteristics and fibre identification
• Carpet soiling
• The chemistry of cleaning
• Principles of carpet cleaning and types of cleaning methods
• Carpet cleaning chemicals
• Basic stain removal procedures
• The pre-inspection process
• Explaining carpet cleaning to the customer
• Potential problems that can occur, why they occur and how you can avoid them
• Hands on component
• Learn how to explain what you are doing and why to your customers
• Basic marketing and sales
• Australian and New Zealand Carpet Cleaning standards
• IICRC Standards

IICRC Course Recognition:
If you want to receive IICRC recognition for the course there is an optional IICRC multiple choice exam at the end of the course.
The cost is $70 payable directly to IICRC via credit card at the time of the exam.
